Another day on the water, that's five straight now ;-)
Jules and Al went out with the 5.0m and my big board and we hired a fanatic
Viper and 3.5m Starboard rig for Joe to have a first go at windsurfing.
They all had fun out there.
Then I went for the 9.0m Dragster and had a good session blasting out into
the Iijsselmeer buzzing past some of the many yachts out today. One or two
others had big sails too and lots of others were slogging about in the
shallow.
Again lots of kites out about 20+ but not moving so fast today and no airs
in sight.
My session was good, well powered up most of the time with just the
occasional lull which only mattered if I was coming out of a tack or gybe,
otherwise I could just out run the lulls if already powered up. Lots of
decent gybes on the outside and a fair few tacks to stay up wind.
Good fun now I need some more beer ;-) Forcast for tomoz is the same as
today but more sun.....
